Permanent Jewelry

What is Permanent Jewelry?Permanent jewelry is a custom-fitted piece (necklace, bracelet, and/or anklet) that’s welded together instead of secured with a clasp. Whether you want a way to mark the birth of a child or simply want to avoid the hassle of clasping and removing your bracelet daily, a piece of permanent jewelry may be for you. Please keep in mind that while permanent jewelry is durable, it is not indestructible. What materials are the chain made of?All chains are made up of 14K gold-filled and sterling silver. Our gold jewelry is gold-filled, which means the coating is over 100x thicker than gold plated. It is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded to a base of another metal, such as brass, copper, or sterling silver. While gold-filled jewelry is typically less expensive than solid gold jewelry, it is actually more durable and, if properly cared for, it can last forever. Our silver is .925 sterling silver. How do I care for my jewelry? It can temporarily tarnish in certain conditions, such as natural hot springs, chlorine, sulfur, bleach, and other strong chemicals. You may purchase some silver cleaning wipes to remove the tarnish or gently brush it with either toothpaste or baking soda. How much is the service?Price varies depending on chain selection & additional charms. It is priced per person & chain. How long will it last?Your permanent jewelry will last months to years depending on the type of chain, the products you use, and your lifestyle. Please keep in mind that while permanent jewelry is durable, it is not indestructible. Will it set off the airport metal detectors? You may wear your jewelry through airport security with no issue. Can I remove the jewelry?Yes, if needed, you can easily remove your permanent bracelet with a pair of household scissors or nail clippers at any time. If possible, try to cut the chain at the ring where it was welded and save your chain so we can weld it back on for you. There are situations where the jewelry may need to be removed for a medical surgery procedure, an X-RAY, or a MRI. In this event, the jewelry can be re-welded as long as it is properly removed. What if my jewelry breaks? If your chain breaks, we can re-weld the same piece for a repair fee with proof of original purchase. However, if your chain breaks or stretches at the weld in the first two weeks of your welding appointment, we will replace or re-weld the chain free of charge. You must have your chain Unfortunately, we are not responsible if you lose your chain. A new chain must be purchased. Can I book with a guest?Yes! I can accommodate 2 people at a time, please make sure to add the number of additional guests you'd like to allow enough time for each person.Does it hurt?It doesn't hurt at all. No heat or spark touches or gets close to the skin. What if the chain breaks or stretches or fell and got lost?If your chain breaks or stretches in the first two weeks of your welding appointment, we will re-weld the chain free of charge. You must have your chain. After this time period, there is a $25 re-welding fee.Lost chains will not be replaced by Esti and Ink. A new chain must be purchased.

What are Eyelash Extension?Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic fibers used to used to enhance the length, curliness, fullness, and thickness of your natural lashes . Depending on the set, either a single eyelash extension and/or fan of lash extensions is then applied to one individual lash. Keep in mind, each set is customized to fit each client’s eye shape, preference, & natural lashes. What is the difference between a Full Set vs Fill?A Full Set, is the application of eyelash extensions to your natural lashes through your full lash line. Ombré Powder Tattoo

What is Semi-Permanent Makeup?Semi-permanent makeup is a form of micro-pigmentation (permanent makeup). Specially formulated pigment is deposited into the skin using a single sterile needle. What is the difference between semi-permanent and permanent makeup?Semi-permanent makeup is a much less invasive application of depositing pigment between the epidermis and upper dermis layer. The results last 1-3 years with necessary touch ups to maintain the color and shape. The color will gradually lighten and fade without changing colors as the skin naturally sheds and exfoliates.Permanent makeup uses a much more aggressive application depositing pigment deeper into the dermal layer. The inks used contain heavy metals which allow for the tattoo to be permanent. The results lasts 5-10+ years and oftentimes will change colors due to the skin's chemistry. What is the difference between ombre powder brows and microblading?Ombre powder brows uses a tattoo rotary pen machine that penetrates the skin with a sterile, single prong needle. The tool uses quick, tapping motions to deposit pigment into the skin, resulting in a powdered look. This method is ideal for those with any skin type who want a defined, but soft powdered brow. Typically lasts 1-3 years with recommended touch-ups every 1-2 years.Microblading uses a hand tool with a sterile, single-use “microblade” - consists of 12 needles packed in a line to form a blade. The tool is used to manually draw small hair-like strokes while depositing pigment into the skin. This method is ideal for those with normal skin only who want a natural, fluffy hair-like look. Typically lasts 6 - 18 months with recommended yearly touch-ups.How long does the appointment take and what does it consist of?The appointment takes about 2 - 3 hours. The first half is spent drawing and outlining your ideal brow shape. Once you are pleased with the outcome, we will move into color matching and numbing. I recommend colors that best suit your complexion and the natural color of your eyebrow hairs. Finally, we’ll move onto the tattooing. Is it painful?I try to minimize any pain and discomfort by numbing you throughout the tattooing process. Some have described it as “slight discomfort, but very tolerable” while others have experienced no discomfort at all. What should I expect after my appointment? You may experience slight redness and swelling the day after the procedure. Just like any tattoo, the area will appear darker for the days following but as your skin heals, it will begin to fade as the skin peels. The healing process can take anywhere from 9-14 days to fully heal, in which you will experience peeling, flaking, itching of the tattooed brow area. You will be sent home with thorough post-procedure care instructions and an antiseptic ointment to ensure proper healing. After about 2 weeks, you should expect to see natural-looking, powdered brows! Will I need a touch up?A touch up is optional and based off of personal preference as brows should be low maintenance and not no maintenance. The second session is recommended at a minimum of 8 weeks after the initial session to ensure proper healing. It can be booked to further lock in the pigment and to make any minor changes. This will also help to ensure the brows will last longer. Will the color change?Absolutely not. I always work with high quality pigments and select colors that closely match natural-looking hair color. Overtime, the color will gradually fade lighter which is why touch-ups are recommended every 1-2 years. How often will I need to get my brows done afte?Clients are recommended to come in annually for a color refresh as brows will gradually fade and shrink over time. This will help to maintain the color, darkness and shape - think of it as getting your hair color refreshed! However, all skin types will have varying retention so it is entirely up to you how often you will need to come in. Please note that the longer the wait, the more work that will need to be done. Why can't pregnant or nursing women receive a permanent makeup procedure?Like any tattoo or procedure involving opening of the skin, there is a risk of contracting infections such as HIV and Hepatitis B. As with any infection, it involves treatment through medication which can affect the baby. There is little to no research regarding the effect of pigments on the body of a pregnant woman and her unborn baby. Chemicals such as iron and titanium dioxides can be harmful towards a baby’s development. How do I know if I am a good candidate?Permanent cosmetic procedures are not recommended for individuals with the following conditions. If you do have any of the contraindications listed below, please consult with your physician prior to booking.List of Contraindications:
Allergic to pigmentation and makeup
Under 18 years of age
Pregnant and/or breastfeeding

Ombré Powder Tattoo - PRECARE & AFTERCARE

PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONSHere's how to prepare for your appointment 1 week prior :DO:
• Moisturize daily, both in the mornings and evenings
• Exfoliate one week prior, especially in the brow / forehead area
• Drink plenty of water - hydrated body = hydrated skin
AVOID:
• Tweezing, waxing, threading as this may irritate the skin
• Retinol and all skin lightening products
• Vitamin E & Fish Oil - blood thinner
• Coloring / tinting brows
• Facials / Skin Needling
• Sun tanning, as increased sun exposure may alter the skin
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONSFIRST 24 HOURS
• No water, soap, moisturizer, makeup, etc
DAY 2 – DAY 14
• Splash warm water on your brows daily – do not soak or saturate brows in excessive water.
• Gently pat dry with a clean cotton pad – do not use a bath towel and do not rub.
• With a clean q-tip each time, gently apply a pea size amount of post-care lotion twice a day – once in the morning and once in the evening. For dry skin, apply 3x times a day.
• Please note to only apply a pea size amount of post-care lotion as applying too much will suffocate the skin which will lead to poor pigment retention
• Do not let soaps, lotion or makeup come in contact
• Day 5 and on, you may gently wash your brows with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser such as Cetaphil
AVOID FOR 14 DAYS
• Touching, picking, peeling, scratching of brows
• Direct sunlight
• Swimming, hot sauna, hot bath, jacuzzi
• Excessive sweating from physical activities for the first week
• Threading, waxing, or use of hair removal products
• Sun tanning and salon tanning
• Anti-acne products or lightening creams on/near brows
• Laser or chemical treatments / peels
• Smoke, fumes, areas with airborne debris
• Driving in open-air vehicle
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE HEALING PROCESS:
For most, brows will heal within 7-14 days. Estimated timeline below.
• Day 1 - 3: Brows will look darker and thicker. Do not panic. It is still fresh and the scabbing process has not started.
• Day 4 - 7: Brows will begin to scab/flake & may appear patchy.
• Day 7 - 10: Brows are completely peeled & the color seem very faint/light.
• Day 11 - 35: Color will start to resurface, darken, & stabilize as your skin regenerates & pushes the pigment to the upper layers of the skin. Brows can take 6 - 8 weeks to show its true color.
THINGS TO NOTE:
• Everybody heals differently and they might notice gaps and irregularities after the brows are healed. Factors such as lifestyle, aftercare, skin, hormones, etc. can impact the healed results.
• Skin is irritated and injured, seeing pink/redness in the skin & color is normal. Especially during days 2-12 as the wound is fresh and the scab is just starting to "lift" off.
• Brow color may appear more "warm" & red at first as some colors are modified to heal with less ashy undertones.
• Color may heal light/uneven at first. Please trust the process and wait for the color to resurface, darken, & stabilize. Lightness in color or patchiness will be corrected during touch ups.
• 1st touch up is scheduled 2 months after 1st session since brows can take 6 - 8 weeks to show its true color. I do not recommend coming any sooner to allow your skin to heal.
• 1st session brows are meant to lay a natural foundation.
• Correction / Cover Ups can require multiple sessions of touch ups as it requires additional steps to neutralize/color correct the brows, skin camouflage existing work that needs to be covered from prior work, etc.
• Touch ups are scheduled to perfect the shape/color and maintain the color as it fades.
WHEN TO SEEK MEDICIAL ATTENTION – INFECTION
• Signs and symptoms of infection, including, but not limited to redness, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, elevated body temperature, or purulent drainage from the procedure site
• If you are experiencing any of the symptoms above, please contact your medical physician

Permanent Jewelry
